The Florida Space Coast Chapter received its charter from the SAWE in May of 2017. Since that time, we have grown to 21 members, all of whom are employed by Northrop Grumman in Melbourne, Florida. We are a small group of engineers that work and play well together. We have a wide range of age and experience. Our members have done everything from missiles and space, military air, general aviation, and shipbuilding to off-shore marine. We have competitive athletes as well as accomplished marksman. We are the first ever SAWE Chapter in Florida and we hope to continue to grow and service the needs of the industries that we support.
Our Chapter includes the geographic region of most of Florida.
Current officers reside in the coastal Melbourne, FL area.
