The Los Angeles Chapter serves its members in the Los Angeles area to fulfill and promote the missions of the international organization Society of Allied Weight Engineers (SAWE). This chapter is the original chapter of SAWE, existing since the organization’s founding in 1939.
SAWE provides an avenue to exchange and share expertise at local and regional levels through meetings and conferences. Its mission is to foster a higher degree of efficiency in mass properties engineering topics.
Our chapter strives to align with the organization’s goals by providing opportunities for mass properties engineers to meet and discuss mutual problems, procedures, and specifications so individuals can be well informed and broaden their horizon.
SAWE LA represents 20+ mass properties engineers from 10+ companies in Southern California and Arizona. Members hail from Los Angeles, Long Beach, Orange County, San Bernadino Valley, and San Diego.
