Ensuring Quality
Since 1939, the Society of Allied Weight Engineers has been promoting recognition of mass properties as a specialized discipline. One principal method of accomplishing this is to make technical content available to our members. Each year the SAWE Technical Committee solicits technical papers from our members for presentation at our international conference, reviews these papers for technical accuracy and awards, and establishes the conference schedule for the presentations. The Technical Committee also manages the creation and delivery of our Technical Forums and supports the Publications Committee by reviewing all technical content in the "Weight Engineering Journal", the "Weight Engineer's Handbook", our Mass Properties Engineering textbooks, and our recommended standards and practices.
