Abstract

In today’s competitive and complex manufacturing environment, companies should be aware of any technology that may help guide them and improve their performance to reach or exceed customer satisfaction. This paper discusses the philosophy of Computer Application using a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and Visual Basic Programming Language to compute flight weight and balance.
A series of Visual Basic Programming codes were written considering all the constraints pertaining to each Citation. These improvements have been noticed from using this software:
1. Greater Accuracy
2. Timesaving
3. User friendly
4. Loading flexibility
This program allows the pilot to simulate the flight profile for a specific Citation over and over again on any computer with Microsoft Excel spreadsheet application.
