Abstract
The Starship I utilizes many new state-of-the-art concepts in design, materials selection, and fabrication techniques for development of a next generation business aircraft. Composite materials comprise approximately 72% of the aircraft structural weight and are a major contribution to the success of the program. This presentation includes a description of the aircraft configuration, weight control philosophy, and computerized mass properties accounting system.
