765. Tail Tipping – Evacuation Limits Method. 1969.
Abstract
It is the purpose of this report to document a method to evaluate what shall be termed evacuation limits. There are concerned with the airplane on the ground and postulates a pit loading sequence, a pit load distribution, and/or passengers moving aft in the aisle, computed with an airplane that is disposed to tipping on its tail. The evacuation limits are used to control the balance loading of the airplane and so avoid tipping the airplane on its tail.
