Abstract
This article describes development of a lightweight electronic system employed under a special environment condition. Emphasis is placed on electrical, thermal and mechanical design details leading to major weight reduction in sub-assemblies.
Accomplishment of this objective is further shown through chassis design, subminiature components and omission of shockmounts with all electrical and mechanical specifications being met or exceeded in the overall design.
