Abstract
A lightweight digital computer for ICBM guidance is a complex equipment which must be of optimum design and capable of fulfilling many exacting requirements. The purpose of this paper is three -fold.
1. To establish the objectives and environmental requirements for a satisfactory computer design.
2. To examine many of the individual problems of design and indicate the lightest weight approach towards their solution.
3. To give examples of minimum weight design which will satisfy these objectives.
