Ted Dull, Wayne Clay, and Andy Brooks supported this year\u2019s Fort Worth Regional Science and Engineering Fair.\u00a0 The Texas Chapter has been a longtime supporter of the science fair and awards special awards at the senior and junior high levels.\u00a0 This year\u2019s winners included experiments with: developing light weight chemical actuators for medical assistance devices, measuring balance with force sensors, Nitinol-60 rocket nozzles, and light weight composite materials.\u00a0 Andy also reviewed the various projects for the best use of metrics for another special award sponsored by the U.S. Metric Association.<\/p>\n
