SAWE\u00a0 went to the FIRST<\/i><\/b> (FRC) is an organization that challenges high school students in science and\u00a0 competition.\u00a0 The students have a robotics game \u201cchallenge\u201d and then compete against other student teams.\u00a0 The mission for First FRC is:<\/p>\n
\u201cOur mission is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n
This year\u2019s game is called Ultimate Ascent and involves Frisbees.\u00a0 Here is the game animation which describes the game and general rules.<\/p>\n
