Located at Paine Field, Everett, the FHC is a remarkable collection of airplanes. The collection belongs to Microsoft’s Paul Allen and consists of flying examples of some of the most famous and rare WWII airplanes. Among his flying Spitfires, Hurricanes and Bf-109s, his collection contains a brilliantly restored flying B-25 Mitchell. A Nakajimi Ki-43 Oscar, a Russian Sturmovik and the last FW190 built all appear in another row of amazing flying aircraft. There is an ME-163 Comet, a piloted Comet, a P-51D, P47 and P40C available for drooling by the enthusiast. A Lancaster nose section overlooks a Polikarpov I-16 and U2 (The ‘Night Witches’). The A6M3 Zeke sits near the Fiesler F103 Storch. One also sees a Flak 88mm gun, a Herter and T-34 tank for good measure.
