Although it won\u2019t be coming to the US, the real story here is just how far BMW was willing to go in order to save weight.<br \/>\nIn total they were able to shave off 419 pounds, or almost 13% of the total weight! This comes at the expense of air-conditioning, sat-nav and even the rear seats, but is also made possible through the use of carbon fiber.
