Stuart S. Melvin <\/strong>was a beloved member of the SAWE Los Angeles chapter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stu was a graduate of The Ohio State University where he majored in engineering. Among his accomplishments was co-authoring a paper<\/a> in 1974 for SAWE while he was a mass properties engineer at McDonnell Douglas Aerospace. He went on to work with The Aerospace Corporation and Boeing Satellite Systems. Stu was also treasurer of the LA chapter for several years. He left an impact on many mass properties engineers in the Los Angeles area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He will be greatly missed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
