Abstract

MASPROP is a versatile FORTRAN language computer program developed at Hughes Aircraft Missile Systems Group to assist in the calculation and management of inertial platform and aircraft mass properties. The program has the following features: an extensively tested primitives library, versatile data management capability, built-in checking routines, a sophisticated operating system, and standardized output formats. The software which has been adopted as a Missile System Standard, is supported on the company wide timeshare system but is compact enough to fit on satellite VAX minicomputers. MASPROP has evolved into a tool which also provides database management and output formatting for solid modeling systems. These systems are often good on graphics but tend to be weak on data organization and output formatting.
