An overview is presented of an expert system for automatically generating flat patterns of integrally fabricated isogrid cylinder/cone structures. The patterns include:
1. Transitions to integrate the isogrid structure with the flat pattern perimeter
2. Circular bosses or penetration that are blended into the isogrid pattern.
Typical output plots are shown.
