Abstract
This paper describes the mass properties calculation capabilities of CADAM/ CADAM is an engineering drawing computer program developed originally at Lockheed California Company in Burbank and now controlled by CADAM, Inc. The mass properties subroutines were developed at Lockheed Missiles and Space Co. in Sunnyvale, California. In addition to calculating mass properties of individual shapes, CADAM can save the results as a note on the face of the drawing, combine separate notes to get a total, and repeat a given shape at alternate locations. In its present version, it uses units of pounds and inches only.
