926. Improved Hydrostatic and Inclining Experiment Calculations for Unconventional Hull Shapes. 1972.
Abstract
The calculation of hydrostatic curves and inclining experiments has remained relatively unchanged for a number of years. The development of unconventional hull shapes has generated a need for an improved approach to be able to directly compute the required hydrostatic curves. Increased attention should also be focused on the relationship between trim and waterplane shape during the inclining experiment evaluation.
