806. An Evaluation of the Economics of CG Position. 1969.
Abstract
It is the purpose of this paper to outline an evaluation of the economic effects associated with the operation of commercial airplanes at a CG position aft of that which nominally exists. The economics of this evaluation are a function of fuel saving, fuel saving as a result of lessening airplane drag as the loaded CG moves aft. No assessment of the cost of implementing an effort to load aft is attempted.
