Abstract
This paper presents and justifies weight-estimating procedures tor use in the preliminary design of helicopters. A variety of alternate selections are offered for those groups that may vary widely in weight because of different configuration. The procedures encompass the entire aircraft weight complex and are presented in a form suitable for adaptation to computing systems.
