Abstract
Radiation shielding evaluations represent a new aerospace problem. Since shielding capability is primarily a function of vehicle mass distribution a major portion of these evaluation can be shown to fall logically into the area of weight engineering. This paper is concerned with the weight aspects of this aerospace problems.
