222. An Airline Loading Procedure for the F-27 Aircraft. 1959.
Abstract
This paper outlines the airline loading procedure for F-27 aircraft. Due to the short cg rang, long fuselage, and only one primary cargo bin, the F-27 has a more acute balance problem than more conventional aircraft. Passenger, cargo, fuel, and overall moments are tabulated; loading restrictions are examined. Formulae are used to create a tabulation of index values. A modified index loading data system is derived and discussed, and with minor variations, could be made useable for certain other aircraft.
